Court overturns mine expansion rejection JEFFREY GOSLACO | Journal Sentinel The U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California dismissed a legal challenge to Oregon's water approval of the controversial project from environmentalists and environmental groups. U.S. District Judge James Ware overturned an April 18 denial by the state's Division of Water Resources to the Conservation Law Foundation's appeal of the ruling for the conservation of the watershed.
